Exterior House Painting in Prior Lake

Project Description

We were contacted by a general contractor for the exterior house painting of this home in Prior Lake. We worked through a general contractor but for most of the project we communicated directly with the homeowner. We were hired to paint the siding, trim and stain the soffits on the house and large detached garage.

Color Selections

Homeowners worked with a designer and selected the color Revere Pewter for the siding body and Chantile Lace for the trim. The soffits were stained darker with a custom mix from Hirshfields. The soffits, fascia and windows were a white metal so we did not have to paint those.

Project Challenges

Since this was the first exterior house painting job of the year we had to work out some kinks as far as equipment and supplies. Switching vehicles over from interior type work to exterior work is always a little challenging. Over the last few years the month of May has been very challenging to navigate around the weather. We had some very rainy days during this project that kept us off site and unable to work. Other than these somewhat expected challenges painting the exterior of this Prior Lake home went very smooth.
